Cornell Chronicle acknowledges BEST’s progress

Cornell’s BEST program is 3-years-old and thriving, according to a recent evaluation. 82% of doctoral students and postdocs are highly satisfied with the program, and 75% of faculty see the benefit of BEST, with many encouraging their students to attend events. Moreover, the robust career development program is a draw for new students, with 38% citing the BEST program as a reason they chose to attend Cornell. With regular evaluation, Cornell BEST is able to offer trainees what they need and want most, such as more training in giving presentations, writing, leadership and networking.
